Camo Paint is a water-based acrylic formula developed for strong adhesion on almost all surfaces.
Suitable for metal, wood, most rigid plastics (not silicone), and carbon fiber components.
After full curing (minimum 24 hours), the coating becomes water-resistant and pretty scratch-resistant under normal airsoft field use.
As long as the paint is still wet, residue can be removed using water with mild soap.
Once fully cured, removal requires an acetone-based remover (like nail polish).
Surface Preparation Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free from oil or dust before application. For better adhesion: lightly sand the surface (recommended grit 250 or finer).
Proper preparation significantly improves long-term durability.
Application Apply in thin, controlled layers rather than one heavy coat. Cut a cleaning sponge in to smaller round parts and use them to apply with light dabbing motions to build natural texture and depth. Work with multiple layers – only apply the next layer when the underlaying layer is dry. Allow sufficient drying time between layers.
Drying Time Touch-dry within minutes depending on temperature and humidity.
Higher temperatures and lower humidity accelerate drying.
Maximum mechanical strength develops after full curing.
Water Resistance After curing, the paint is water-resistant under normal outdoor conditions.
Rain and incidental moisture do not affect performance.
Continuous long-term submersion is not recommended.
Scratch Resistance Once fully cured, the coating resists scratches and abrasion during regular gameplay.
Durability depends on proper surface preparation and curing time.
If wear occurs, affected areas can be locally refinished.
